I LOVE LOVE LOVE this site. It is so informative. I will be married to an Irishman in the very near future, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can of his culture. Thank you for this site!

TOP STORY: Irish Spring is Here!

(The season, not the cool green soap!)

Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, eggs are … laying… And Easter is right around the corner!

Every year we update our section on Irish Easter traditions, and this season's edition is hot off the press!

Our team has scoured the globe, gathering great seasonal ideas for expressing your Irish side.

And sharing them in the fun, informative and occasionally sassy style that you have come to know and love.

At least we hope you love it! Either way...

Please visit our updated section on Irish Easter Traditions here!

Irish Expression of the Month

I’ll admit it… I love Irish food.

Something about simple, hearty country meals - well prepared - keeps me coming back to Irish recipes again and again.

We served a lovely Shepherd’s Pie for St Patricks Day this year, and it was a big hit!

My kids were so in love with the mashed potatoes, tender meat and savory beef gravy, that they didn’t seem to notice they were getting their vegetables (carrots, peas, onions) at the same time!

So ‘score one’ for Dad!

With all that in mind, our Irish expression of the month is – drum roll please –

Irish Shepherd's Pie

If you have never tried this classic dish, you are in for a treat!

If you have enjoyed it before, and would like a simple yet delicious recipe to bring it to life on your own dinner table, here you go!

And if you have a favorite Irish recipe of your own, please share it on our main recipes page here.

We’ll publish it on the main site, and give you an embarrassing amount of credit and praise for it!

And who knows – you might even receive a small but valuable gift of appreciation from Irish-Expressions.com!

Do you have Feedback, a Question, or a Request to Share?

We want to hear from you! I personally read every email, and if you want a response I will definitely get back to you.

To reach me, please use the contact form under the 'Stay in Touch' (upper right corner of the page) on our main site.

Meanwhile, thanks for visiting Monthly Updates from Irish-Expressions.com. I look forward to connecting soon!
