The uniquely Irish flavor in Irish cream cheesecake is - you guessed it! - Bailey's Irish cream. While there are many variations to this Irish dessert, the core recipe is simple and easy to make at home.

Once the cheesecake has cooled, mix together powdered sugar and sour cream in a small bowl. Spread on the top of the cheesecake.
Allow to refrigerate for approximately six hours. Before serving, sprinkle the almonds and grated white chocolate on top as an edible garnish.
Of course, you can have a bit of fun with your Irish cream cheesecake by trying a few variations and fun serving suggestions.
One great idea is to substitute dark chocolate for white chocolate in the cream cheese filling, adding a rich chocolate flavor to the Irish cream.
Or consider a mind-flavored sauce or frosting in the shapes of Ireland...
For a different crust, consider using chocolate cookies or cinnamon graham
crackers instead of the traditional graham crackers. You may also want to use walnuts or some other type of nut.
A vegetable peeler or small knife can also be used to create chocolate curls, instead of grating the chocolate for the garnish.
